Wedding Photography at Hoveton Hall Gardens

In late September Chloe and Tristan said ‘I do’ at St Peter’s Church Lingwood and had their wedding breakfast at Hoveton Hall Gardens. All morning the sun was shining. Karl was with the boys capturing all the fun on the clay pigeon shoot and I was with the girls.

As Chloe arrived at St Peters Church the weather was gorgeous, the service was amazing and in that short space of time, the heavens opened and boy did it rain! No problem, the beautiful large oak tree provided enough shelter from the rain to get a couple of pictures by the Silverline Limousines ‘Silver Belle’.

We then headed off to Hoveton Hall Gardens hoping the rain would pass over but we were not that lucky, but like everything I always had a plan and this involved Peter, Silverline’s driver.

Peter was a true gent and lent Chloe his coat to keep her warm and held the umbrella to keep Tristan and Chloe dry, whilst Peter and I got very, very, wet, but hey, I just had to get that picture!
After a 3, 2 and 1 the coat and umbrella was taken out of shot and the picture was taken, and with a little post-editing, you would never know how wet Peter and I got.

After a couple of pictures outside the front of Hoveton Hall, Chloe and Tristan drove to the marquee where Karl was waiting to take the pictures of their arrival.

The rain got worse so we took all the group pictures in the Marquee, whilst the Big Steve Band were playing and Olly Graham the magician entertained the guests.

During the Wedding Breakfast, the rain stopped, the sun came out and a beautiful rainbow appeared. Tristan was the first to see the rainbow and shouted to Karl and I who were in the corner out of the way backing up the morning pictures. We both put our laptops down, picked up the nearest camera and got an amazing picture of Chloe and Tristan under the rainbow.

After speeches the weather was holding up, the sun was now really, really, low and it was time for the big group shot with all the guests and the confetti run, followed by some sunset pictures by an oak tree.

Karl and I then set up the Photo Booth, and whilst Karl was having fun in the booth I was going around with the chalkboard and getting some ‘well-wishing’ messages for Chloe and Tristan, and of course, getting some pictures of all the fun on the dance floor as everyone danced the night away to the amazing sounds of the ABC Blues Brothers Tribute Band

At midnight we said our goodbyes and went home and backed up the day’s pictures to 3 external hard drives and took the cards out of the cameras for safekeeping. Another fantastic day of fun and laughter.
